OFS Receives R&D Magazine’s R&D 100 Award for the RightWave™ Tunable Dispersion Compensator (TDC) and the TDC receives LightWave’s Attendees Choice Award at OFC.
OFS’ Dave Peckham, Consulting Member of Technical Staff, receives the prestigious Engineering Excellence Award from the Optical Society of America for his groundbreaking work in optical fiber technology.
AllWave® Fiber wins the Bell Labs President’s Award.
Bell Labs patents AllWave® Fiber.
International Engineering Consortium InfoVision Technology of the Year Award given to AllWave ADVANTAGE.

Lucent patents TrueWave® RS fiber. Bell Labs Fellow John MacChesney receives engineering’s highest honor, the Charles Stark Draper Prize, for his invention and development of the modified chemical vapor deposition (MCVD) process.
AllWave® Fiber wins Technology and Innovation award from IndustryWeek magazine.
